Be Nutty about Incorporating Nuts into Your Diet

Did you know that nuts are a great way to pump your body
full of vital nutrients? Nuts contain protein, fiber, unsaturated fats, and
important vitamins and minerals that are all essential for a daily diet. Many
people shy away from incorporating nuts into their diet because they don’t like
the taste or they think that they’re too high in fat.
But you know that nuts are not too high in fat, but in fact
they are full of healthy fats! Why not find nuts that are lightly salted if you
don’t like their taste? There are many tasty nuts that you can eat in
moderation – a hand full of nuts is an adequate serving per day. If you’re
taking your vitamins and other important supplements,
you’re already on your way to healthy success, but incorporating food like nuts
is still important. So what nuts should you be nutty about eating? Let’s find
out:

Walnuts Help Reduce PMS
Walnuts are deemed the healthiest of all nuts. The reason
why is because they are the richest in omega-3 fatty acids, which helps fight
inflammation. If you’re not a fan of fish you can get your healthy unsaturated
fats this way as opposed to worrying about eating fish when you don’t care for
it.
Almonds Help You Lean Down
Almonds contain the most fiber, about three grams per ounce
to be precise. They also have the most vitamin E and help with weight loss! In
a recent study, a group of people who included almonds in their daily diet lost
more weight than the group of people who ate more complex carbohydrates. If
you’re worried about your blood sugar almonds are also supposed to help with
that as well.

Cashews Help Prevent Memory Loss
Cashews are packed full of iron and zinc. As well as iron
and zinc, cashews also contain magnesium. Magnesium supposedly helps with your
memory as well as protects you from developing memory loss as you age,
according to a study in the journal Neuron.
So as you can see, nuts are not only good for your health,
but they also help you lose weight, boost heart health, help reduce PMS, and
even lower your cancer risk. If you’re not nutty about nuts yet, then the
reasons listed above should just give you enough cause enough to start snacking
on nuts today.
