Celebrate the Year of the Dragon with your Children

In my family we love to have theme days. We pick a theme, such as butterflies, and then we usually do some activities highlighting the theme of the day.
Since 2012 is the year of the dragon according to the Chinese calendar, I thought it would be fun to celebrate with a dragon theme day.

Children love dragons because they breathe fire which makes them mystical creatures and brings out the curiosity and creativity in your child.

Here is a brief list of free or inexpensive activities that you can do with your child to celebrate the year of the dragon.

I think it is important to teach kids about different cultures- this would also be a good thing for homeschoolers to incorporate! Thanks for the ideas!
