How to Make Your Hips Look Smaller

It is but natural for people to look for something that they don’t have. Those with narrow hips want to have wider ones while those who have bigger butts tend to feel disgusted about them and long for smaller ones.

There are some women who are born with big butts and others have them after childbirth and weight gain. Even though having a set of big butts is viewed by many as an asset, there are also women who don’t enjoy the sight of their full hips and want to make it look smaller.

So, here are some useful tips for women who want to make their butts look smaller.

Try types of exercise that can help you decrease the size of your buttocks and get it toned. You should select an exercise that suits your lifestyle and body type. Running, Cycling, Walking Lunges, and Stepmill are some of the best butt slimming work-outs that are easy to do.

Choose the right type of clothing. Select clothes that can hide the fullness of your butts. Go for pants that have wide leg openings and avoid wearing skinny jeans. Invest in skirts and dresses that have an A-line cut and avoid pencil skirts because they cut close to your hips, making them look wider. To make your legs look longer and your hips look slimmer, belt your clothes at your natural waist. Wear dark-colored clothes because they make heavy sections look smaller.

Undergo Liposuction of the outer thighs if you really want to obtain that size of hips you are dreaming of. According to Denver Plastic Surgeon Stephen A. Goldstein, MD, it is possible that liposuction of the outer thighs can make the buttock proportions appear smaller, and better shaped. But, Goldstein said that patient should undergo a thorough physical examination to determine if you are a suitable candidate. Women who are planning to have an outer thighs liposuction are advised to see an expert plastic surgeon experienced in body contouring.

The tips and suggestions above are not absolute solutions to achieve smaller and slimmer looking hips. If you are in doubt, it is better to get an advice from a health and fitness expert.
