My best friend mentioned to me this past week-end “For someone who is doing Weightless Wednesday, your last few 365 Days of Blessings have been all about food!” She’s so right! Let’s see, there was Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cupcakes, Hot Chocolate, did I mention chocolate chip cookies? This is the biggest reason I have always known that I MUST combine exercise with nutritional changes. It has always been this way, and always will. I just LOVE food too much! And now that I’m actually a part of the functioning world again, I find myself baking and cooking things I haven’t had the energy to make for the past 2 years!
Last week I started with our new sponsor the 80Bites Diet. I kept track of the bites that went in my mouth (sometimes I would be part way through a meal before I realized I had forgotten to track! – thankfully each segment has 3 weeks to develop the habit). This week the focus was on lowering the number of bites I take and watching the size. I love how easy these steps are to include in my day-to-day life! I also LOVE that this is not a gimmick. It is a natural way to lessen how much fuel my body is ingesting. For Millenia people never knew what a calorie was and they didn’t need to know!
The second part for me as I mentioned is exercise.
